I used to use AvantGo.  I have since moved to using sitescooper and plucker,
two free software packages that allow me to get most of what I was able
to get with Avantgo - and more.  They are set up so that one can gather
info from any site without special working being done on the remote site's
part, unless they WISH to make things nicer.
