I used to use the AvantGo pilotmgr conduit (malsync) but found as a conduit it
often failed.  And could take a long time to complete...  

And also because AvantGo brought out a new version, 2.0.4.
And as I had already stopped using it with pilotmgr I didn't bother
a) seeing if avantGo had included code for use with pilotmgr.
b) incorporating it myself :(
