[PilotMgr] Digitizer SNAFU, desparate now!

My digitizer is so far out of alignment I can't access the top row
of the screen- which is the only way to get to the digitizer aligning
tool.

After carefully doing a backup, I did a hard reset.  The alignment
was ok initially, but after the restore it was out of whack again.
After looking around a bit I tried the same process but without the
Keyboard backup files.  Still no joy.

How on earth can I get it realigned?
