[PilotMgr] help configuring pilot manager sought

I'm trying to get pilotmanager 1.107 (which is as far as I can tell the latest
version) configured .

I built PDA::Pilot and installed it into a personal directory.

Then I ran PilotManager's Setup.  It says:

        You do not have the correct binary of the PDA::Pilot module
        installed in either your PilotManager distribution or your
        perl installation.

The PDA::Pilot was installed here by the pilot-unix Makefile.PL:
