I had the same problem and was in a similar panic until I stumbled upon
a solution...

Launch the Welcome application (probably in your System applications
category).  It takes you through the Digitizer, among other things.

Anyone know what causes the digitizer to get so out of alignment?  I
have to realign mine about once per day.  Palm Tech Support told me it
was probably an application I had added that was causing it, but I've
never figured out which one (if any).
