PDASync uses javax.comm, which doesn't use Solaris device nodes, so
there's no Solaris access model involved. It only gives access to the
local devices on your local Sun Ray.
This is not the same as pilotmgr, which uses the legacy Solaris device
model.
If you're having problems with PDASync the most common issue is a skew
in the version of javax.comm you are using. Make sure you have
installed the latest version.
