[PilotMgr] Can't sync

Just upgraded from a Palm IIIx to a Palm VIIx but I can't sync up to my 
workstation.   I can still sync up the IIIx but I keep getting this error 
message

Error:  Modification of a read-only value attempted at 
/usr/dist/local/share/pilotmgr/PilotManager line 2618

PilotManager is v1.106 and SuncCM is v1.102.

Right now I have to sync the IIIx here, take it to my laptop,
sync up the IIIx with my laptop and then sync with my VIIx on the laptop.
