Bug in Solaris 8; fixed in FCS at least, maybe in Beta Refresh;
workaround: in cm.pm, change the line that says

     $chunk = 16 * 7 * 24 * 60 * 60;   # 16 weeks.
     
Change the two 16's to 8's (15 should work too).  16 weeks is a
magic threshold that tweaks the bug in libcsa.so.
