More experiences:
- It always backs up my .pdb files even if, it seems, I've not changed
them. Haven't found a setting for that yet.
- I use iSilo to read html documents and one document is called
"Credenda/Agenda". This name causes a java.io.FileNotFoundException for
obvious reasons.
- I tried the mail conduit with the "local" setting. I did not check the
"Desktop overwrites PDA" option but it still deleted all the mail from
my "Filed" category. I haven't found what it did with them. This
wasn't very cool IMHO.
- After every sync, my Pilot presents the popup that says the connection
was broken and some data was not backed up. The pdasync log doesn't
show anything related.
- It is multithreaded so you can do other things (check the log, double
check conduit settings, etc) while it is sync'ing.
Anyone know the status on possible APIs for writing java conduits? I
didn't find anything one the pdasync related pages, nor on the sunsolve
site (but then this is very new).
