There apparently are some misunderstandings from those reading my message.

I was describing several bugs.

1. After SyncCM correctly informs me once that there is a situation and
tells me what to do, subsequent syncs later in the day do not tell me
but automatically delete the msgs on the desktop.

2. The _bigger_ problem is that during that second sync, appointments
were deleted that had nothing to do with the purge - they were appointments
_in the future_.

3. A related problem I suspect is that a _third_ sync resulted in even
more future appointments being deleted...
