>I installed Solaris 2.7 release 16 (s998_16) on my SPARCstation 5 last week and
started getting error messages every time I tried to sync. I had release 15
(beta refresh) on my machine before and had no trouble at all. I tried
reconfiguring the port but it made no difference. I moved the cable to port b
and now it works fine.
I am running 2.7 Beta April 1998 revison 50 since some weeks. I don't
normaly sync with my Pilot on my homesystem (only at work and that
still runs 2.6).
I did a test and it worked very well. No error messages all.
I am running perl 5.004_04 and not the SUN supplied/compiled perl.
I have not change the PilotManager installation since I installed 2.7.
