All,
There are several apps out there for dealing with digitizer issues. One
that comes to mind is AutoDigi, which is supposed to resolve a long standing
issue with digitizers on Palm. There are also apps that invoke the digitizer
directly, rather than going through the prefs drop-down, much like the
Welcome app, but with just the digitizer. This can help, and tying that app
to a button or other quick launch method, using hackmaster hacks, etc. can
allow you to redigitize despite screen problems, without having to do a hard
reset. I used to have problems towards the end of the days I used my
PalmPilot Pro, but really haven't seen the problems with my Palm III or my
current Handera 330.
