HI all-
I just started using pilot-manager with my brand new handera 330 and it
works very well. I am using the time and backup conduits very successfully
and to create memo docs I use wordsmith which works. I do have a question
about the syncmemo utility and perhaps I don't understand how it should
work. I have a memo I created on my Linux desktop called thoughts lets say.
I run pilot-manager and it syncs it to my palm. Now I want to edit thoughts
on my palm so I add stuff to it. Now when I resync it to my desktop its not
called thoughts anymore but something like Memo0000.txt. Each time I edit
the thoughts file its still called thoughts on the pda but on the desktop it
changes to a file incrementing teh memo number.
What I had hoped would happen is that I could sync a file, work on it, sync
it back to the desktop and work on it and it would stay with the same name.
Is there a way to do this with syncmemo?
thanks.
