[PilotMgr] PDASYNC error

Hello All,

I'm getting the following error on my Palm VIIx.  Can any tell me why or what it 
implies?

HotSync operation was interupted.  Some of your data was NOT backed up.  For 
details, tap HotSync Log on the HotSync screen.

Solaris 8, PDASYNC, brand new palmIIIxe

here's the problem:

MemoSync Conduit: copied desktop records to handheld
Backing up handheld databases...
Not writing out user information to handheld,
due to conduit synchronization errors.
Synchronization aborted.
