[PilotMgr] palm DRAM bug and fix

If you are unaware of this, there is a known DRAM problem with the
IIIxe, IIIc, and Vx palms manufactured between October 1999 and May 2000.
For more info see:

        http://www.palm.com/support/dram/

My IIIxe is affected, and following is an account of the steps
necessary to correct it using pilotmgr. Hopefully, this will help
anyone else attempting to do this via pilotmgr as well.

Rodney

1 - Downloaded the DRAMTest.prc file from the palm website

2 - Ran Installer/Configure and added DRAMTest.prc

3 - Ran Installer/Run to install the DRAMTest application

4 - Installed fresh batteries (I actually waited until my
    batteries were due for replacement.)

5 - Hotsynced the palm and backed up all data

6 - Ran the DRAMTest.prc application. This takes about
30 minutes and if it confirms the bug, it will prompt
    you to erase all data.

7 - Said yes to erase all data when prompted, the app
then reset the palm to factory defaults.

8 - Downloaded the RefreshFix103.prc file from the Palm website

I then tried to select Installer/Configure to add the
RefreshFix103.prc file and kept getting the error:

        08/03/100 15:15:58 Error copying
        /home/users/rpr/.pilotmgr/apps/RefreshFix103.prc
to Installer (No such file or directory)

Apparently, because the palm had been reset, it didn't
have the necessary info to run this. To get around this,
    I did the following:

9 - Remove all active conduits from pilotmgr except Installer
    (via properties).

10 - Copy RefreshFix103.prc to .pilotmgr/Installer

11 - Click on sync button and initiate a hotsync

It will prompt you noticing that the pilot had been reset.
It will ask you to restore/change userid. Complete this.

The installer will then install the fix which will update
the palm and then put you into preferences.

Complete any preference updates you wish to make

12 - Now you can use the installer to restore your latest backup:

        - Select Installer/Configure
        - Select the latest backup directory
        - Click on Select All
        - Select Installer/Run

You should now have all data restored to the palm.
You will then be prompted on the palm with:

     "Cleaning up - please wait"

"Hotsync: You now need to reset your handheld computer
     by tapping the button below"

Tap reset, it will reset and you will be back
     at preferences.

At this point, the palm should be ready to go.

13 - The final step is to update your active conduits
and add back the other conduits you were using
     in pilotmgr (via properties).

14 - I then did a new sync to capture an updated backup.

NOTE: The fix is an application that runs on the palm, it
is NOT an OS update (The OS version still shows as
3.5.0). To verify that the fix is installed and
       running correctly:

        - tap the Application button
        - tap the Menu button
        - select Delete
        - scroll through list of applications and look for
          RefreshFix103
        - select RefreshFix103, click delete and then yes

If it does not allow you to delete it, it is installed
      and running correctly.

If the palm is ever reset, you will need to reinstall
      the RefreshFix103.prc application again.
