[PilotMgr] advice? PalmV problem with deleted date events

Hi,

I'd wellcome any advice for the following problem. 

I'm a new owner of a PalmV and I have some trouble with the DateBook.
I've installed the PalmOS3.3 upgrade and some 3rd party demo applications
like weekview, etc. (If this matters, who knows.)

I have the inhouse AutoPilot application copied from 
http://esun.europe/Mobile_Computing_Group/Project_Information/Completed/Palm_Aut
oPilot_Package/

I managed to play with the hotsync so that I ended up having duplicate
events, etc. OK,  I cleared all the extra carbage in the Palm and set 
'Handheld overrides the desktop' to clear also the desktop calendar.

Now, my problem is that the events that I deleted on Palm (and which
do not show on the Palm) REAPPEAR in my dekstop calendar. I did not
mark the 'archive on desktop' option when I deleted the events.
Obviously these deleted events still exist on the Palm.
How can I purge them? I want to remove the deleted events so that
my hotsync won't pick them to my desktop calendar.

I've already tried  to hotsync to a temporarily PC desktop. This
PC desktop calendar does not show the deleted events. But again,
when I reconnect to my primary calendar with hotsync and set
'Handheld overrides the desktop', then again these deleted entries
reappear on the desktop calendar! The deleted entries must be
hidden on the Palm and I'd need to remove them.

Please kindly advice.
