[PilotMgr] Palm Vx fatal error in find

I have a Palm Vx running v3.3 and use PilotManager (std conduits),
SyncToDo conduit, and occasional downloads of memos using install-memo
(from pilot-link 0.9.3).

The sync process does not display any errors, but whenever I use the
Palm "Find" application, it aborts with
	Searching
	--------Address-------
	--------Datebook------
	Fatal Error
	DataMgr.c, Line 2651, Err
	closing DB
		(Reset)
and I have to perform a soft reset.  

Does anyone have any ideas what causes this, and how to correct it?
