I get the same effects if I'm using the 'Full' Sync type in SyncMemo.
When I experienced these problems, I looked into the code of SyncMemo
and it seems that it does not use its master database in the case of a
full sync, so it cannot distiguish changed memos from new ones.
Maybe you changed the sync settings recently? In my experience the bug
you describe is an old one.
Note: if you are syncing to only one computer, it seems to be safe to
set the sync default to fast sync without any problems.
