A user was asking me to take a look at their setup today. They had
a PalmOS 3.1.0 based system, hooked to an UltraSPARC Solaris 2.6
desktop.
They downloaded pilot-link and pilotmgr today and built them, using
perl 5.005_02 as the perl interpreter.
When they reset the SyncCM config preferences, they get a full calendar
merge. They have full merge (as opposed to Palm->desktop or desktop-> Palm)
selected in the conduit. When they do a second and subsequent sync,
no changes made in either location ever are reflected. No warnings or
errors appear. The hotsync log says:
11/02/99 10:42:55 Synchronizing using the SyncCM conduit
11/02/99 10:42:56 Using calendar 'gxw26@gxw26awu'
11/02/99 10:42:56 Reading dates 10/27/1998 to 10/26/2002.
11/02/99 10:42:59 No changes
11/02/99 10:42:59 Synchronization complete
------------------------------
11/02/99 10:42:56 Sync beginning
nothing else appears.
There are in fact changes on the Pilot's calendar.
Can anyone provide suggestions on how to proceed in fixing this problem?
Thanks.
