SyncCM

I had posted a couple of questions regarding some error messages that I
used to get while sync - ing my pilot with my desktop.

After a lot of trial I think I omitted the fact that the pilotmgr
executables were not installed localy, though my databases were. So, I
  guess my first question:

can pilotmgr be configured in a client server mode?

I guess a little background:

I was running on a SParc 10, Solaris 2.5.1 with Pilotmgr 1.01.

I upgraded to an Ultra 5, Solaris 2.6 and have installed pilotmgr
1.02. Works great. Seems like all the isntructions lead me to a
successful installation of the utilities but I noticed a couple of
things:

My new installation of pilotmgr is a local install and when I
installed it and ran Pilotmgr it overwote my older directory
(./pilotmgr) with a lot of extra stuff. No problem just a tape
reload of a backup and I was back in business though I would have
like to know that this would happen before it happened.

many of my Address Book entries are duplicated.

So now the questions:

Can Pilotmanager be installed in a client server mode (one executable
  set with many different clients)?

Any clues about duplicate AB entries?
