Actually, there are a lot of cool Springboard applications
in the works:

	MP3 player 
	mobile phone
	pager
	heart monitor !?
	wireless Internet/email
	GPS
	scientific data collection
	ebooks
		
Cheaper, expandable, better built-in apps, compatible with existing
Palm apps, voice recognition/notation ... the Visor seems like a 
great product.
