SyncCM Issue

Anyone out there had issues with SyncCM *magically* erasing
lots of appointments from the desktop calendar?
After syncing I noticed most of my calendar was blank and
checking PM logs noticed that 473 appointments had been
deleted on the Desktop Calendar.
All preferences covering sync dates seem to be in order at
first glance, but I am still in shock.
Help please.
