Another thing to help avoid duplicate appointments is to make sure that
you have SyncTime running when you ae syncing to your Unix system and
make sure that the SyncTime is the first conduit in the list.

When you sync to other systems and travel in different time zones
sometimes the Palm's time gets changes (manually or automagically).  

Be careful with repeat appointment CDE and Palm do not always handle
these kind of appointments the same way.  I have found that you should
change the repeat appointments on the system they where created on (Palm
or Unix CDE).
