SyncPlan & Categories in Pilot (DateBk3)

Hi PilotManager users,

i'm currently using xdiary as my calendar tool but i'm considering
switching to plan as it allows two-way synchronization of calender
entries with the pilot.

I'm used to have a number of different calender DBs so i would also
like to get that mapped to the pilot.  as far as i could see SyncPlan
does allow syncing multiple  DB's on the host side but it puts them
all in one pilot category.

this seems no defect on one hand as the standard pilot calendar
application doesn't support them (or more precisly, simply ignores the
'$rec->{category}' entry) .

Better Calendars such as DateBk3 on the other hand do quite nicely
support multiple categories on the pilot so i'm wondering if anybody
has already worked on extending SyncPlan to support multiple
categories also on the pilot (in particular in support for DateBk3) ?
