I had a similar wierd message and it continued even after I deleted the
bad appointments. I don't know why it started but I used Pimlico
Software's dbScan to fix the problem and it seems to have done the
job. http://www.gorilla-haven.org/pimlico/dbscan.zip
The description for dbScan from their web page says:
Suspect problems with your Datebook database? Try our dbScan
datebook database checking utility. dbScan can also clean up
your graffiti shortcuts which on a Palm III may have a huge
number of redundant records because of a bug in the V-3 Palm OS
(3 shortcuts are added every time you do a reset)!
I have Palm-V and it cleaned up the Databook problem and it found 18
redundant shortcuts that it removed.
Just a newbie Palm owner.
