When I attempt to run the program "PilotManager" and sychronize my Sun/Solaris/Ultra1 work station with my palm pilot, a window popps open stating "Pay Attention!" "Your OS has a bug in the time of day code. This bug causes the dates to slowly travel backward in time and interferes with the PilotManager's performance. This bug is caused by having a bad timezone environment variable setting. Your timezone is set to US/Pacific you might try setting it to a more specific timezone, for example US/Pacific maps to: PST8PDT."
I therefore set TZ=PST8PDT. I then closed all application and logged out and logged back in. I then used the shell command, echo $TZ, and confirmed that TZ=PST8PDT.
It didn't help. PilotManager still refuses to let me sync up!
If anyone knows how to fix this pleae email me at "craig.osullivan@xxxxxxxxxxx" or call me at (408) 544-0222.
Thanks
