I don't currently use any mail conduit, but then I have way too much email
to put it all on my pilot anyway.
What I do this keep a FileManager window open, showing my
~/.pilotmgr/SyncMemo directory. You can drag&drop the individual emails
you want on your pilot into the category directory.. (I have a category
called "Email"). Then edit the new file to remove any headers you don't
want and give the memo a title.. SyncMemo will put the message on your
pilot at the next sync.
(or if you use openwindows you can use the PilotDrop program in the
contrib/alan-harder directory which does the same thing, but pops up a
text editor automatically after the drop)

Of course, if you have a pilot modem you can get IMAP mail readers on
the pilot.... this falls outside the realm of pilotmgr hotsync..
