Well, as happened to me a few months ago, today I spent quite a bit of time
cleaning up the loss of dates from my calendar manager. I am
pretty sure _this_ time what triggered the event. Last night I did a purge
of appointment info from my palm that was older than 1 month. Today, when
I ran SyncCM 1.101, it first told me that since my palm's datebook was so
much smaller than my desktop calendar I should be careful - it gave me 3
buttons one of which was 'tell me what options I have' or some such wording.
I selected that one. I got some info, which after I read I dismissed.
SyncCM then cancelled the requested sync and syncing continued.
The next time I synced, I didn't get a query - just a sync which resulted
in a large number of old desktop entries being deleted - PLUS a large number
of future appointments being deleted as well. I went thru the log, re-inserting
the appointments on the desktop, then sync'ed again. Another large group
of future desktop appointments (some newly inserted, some that were spared
the previous time) were deleted. So I re-inserted the deleted items, then
went into synccm's configuration page and selected the last button (which
indicated if it was selected, that no items would be deleted). I then
did a sync and then went thru and deleted a few duplicate appts that were
created.
