I'm using a Palm Pilot 5000. When I attempt a hotsync from the pilotnames
shell, (option 1), nothing happens. Both the pilot and my workstation
sit in hotsync mode waiting to communicate. When I go into the palm
pilot interface icon, ( the one that shows someone holding a palm pilot,
and press hotsync from that window, "press the hot sync button on the cradle"
pops up and then the window closes it self briefly after that. I
have the pilot plugged into the "B" port, the one just above the parallel.
This is the only connector on the back of my workstation that fit the pilot
connector. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sajid Patel
