The following is a msg that I received when requesting help on the
ptk mailing list for the error I reported seeing here a week or so ago...
Note that I checked the versions of individual conduits and made sure
that I downloaded and installed the newer versions of the Installer, etc.
and tested these and continue to get the same error. I thought I would
pass this msg along since it _seems_ to portend an increasing number of
reports of this error as others upgrade to newer versions of perl.

Internal glob errors may be due to propogation of csh globbing exit status
values. This "feature" is new to (I think 5.005 and higher) perl. There are
several ways around it including modifying the at least the $full_csh
configuration variable in the build of perl (it goes into config.sh hence
config.h) to point to tcsh rather than 'csh' (of course before doing that be
sure you have a good working tcsh on your machine).
There is a plan to replace csh spawning to do globbing internal to perl
at some time in the (hopefully not too distant) future.
