RE: pilotmgr updates needed?

Yep, Adam is right.  We do not see screen updates because
PilotManager is not multi-threaded.  With Perl 5.005 I think
we have enough threading support to make the application
MT, if somebody wants to take the time to work on it.  If
we just started with making the status window it's own
thread it'd probably give the user a better experience.
