I've noticed that the PilotManager windows don't refresh themselves during a sync until an update to the status window happens. This happens
when a new conduit starts or, in the case of the backup conduit, when it updates
the status window with the next database being saved. If I want to see what's
being synced and the PilotManager window is screwed up, I just look at the Pilot
screen. It lists the database being synced.

This is typical behavior for a non-threaded UI application that I've ever seen.
