First time user having problems getting started with PilotMgr.

Hello

I got my Pilot on Friday. Over the weekend (while I was away from my
SPARC), I read over the manuals and had great fun with the date book, todo
lists, and memos.

This morning I came into the office, plugged the cradle into my UltraSparc
and started up pilotmgr 1.106 as installed by a co-worker.

I went to the web page, read over the introductory material, and read
the details of the SyncCM conduit (the first one I wanted to use).

I move the conduit to the active list, and press configure. I get the
screen shown at the web site.

The first thing that is noticably unexpected is that no calendar is
listed.

The second is that when I begin typing my calendar name, I get an error
msg at the point of typing the 4th character of my calendar name. SyncCM
refuses to allow me to go any farther.

I talk to my co-worker, who has no such problem.

I exit pm, copy his preference file, and hand edit in my calendar name.
I restart pm. I bring up the configure screen and the name is in the field
just fine. Unfortunately, now the range dates are wrong (my coworker has
some unusual dates in his). So I start to change the date. I type 08/ and
when I go to type the 4th character, I get an informational message
telling me that I am entering an invalid begin date and it refuses to
let me enter any more data.

Does this sound familar to anyone else? I could really use some help
to get farther. I am rather hesitant to proceed using my PP further
until I can get things synced up.
