Duplicate CM appointments

All,

Need some help.  I have to change alot of appointments on my PalmPilot.  when I syncCM, the appointments that have been changed or deleted still show up. 

SyncCM prefs:

PalmPilot overwrites desktop
Remove duplicates
Log all changes
Attach Alarm to Popup
Attach Private flag to Show Time Only

NOT USING or USING fast calendar delete
