Well.....

I've done this-and-that to the ttya config. and rebooted 
three times. No luck and ALWAYS the same message:


"loopback dectected" is the heading on the window

"You have pressed localSync while connected to a modem...."

The only tool I know how to use for ttya config. is "admintool".

It has LOTS of options.  

Has anyone ever set up the ttya port from this tool?

Earlier, when I had other problems, I tweeked the port
with the admintool in a attempt to solve and I don't 
know what the default config. should be.
