I now have my one-day-old Pilot and I'm poking around trying
to install PilotMgr so I can back things up.
Immediate problem is that I have Perl 5.004_01 installed in
compatibility mode and I can't seem to find a set of binaries
for Linux+5.003 - on the download page there's both sorts for
Solaris, but only 5.004 for Linux.
I'd upgrade my Perl but I really REALLY hate doing that ...
I spent over a week trying to get the distribution up, and
finally gave up and upgraded Perl, got everything else listed in the
README.porting document, recompiled everything, and was up and running
last night.
