Serial port on sparc

Hello!

I have a sparcstation 5 at work and would like to connect my pilot to
it.  Since both the sparc and the pilot have female connectors I
obviously need a male gender converter, but I have an feeling that
I will need a cross-over cable as opposed to a straight one, and would
like to put it straight (heh... i.e. find out) before I sit down and
solder one.

Any ideas?
