Hi Todd,
I too have PEG N610 .What I think you need is a serial cable or cradle.
I know from some news groups that the serial cradle for the 320
can be used(with some filing) as a serial cradle for the N610/N760.
A cheaper alternative is to get the Clie "Serial Cable" from :
http://www.pc-mobile.net/sonyclie.htm
This will effectively convert your device to a PDA with a serial port.
Then you can use DB-9 to DB-25 adapter & DB 25 gender changer to connect
to you solaris box.(as everybody else has to I guess).
I haven't tried connecting to my Sun Ultra( I will in the future) ,but I
do know that it works for connecting to a Windows NT m/c(which also does not
support USB).
Doen't give up on your Clie so fast ....where else can you get 320X320
colour screen ..... :-)
