I couldn't find anything related to this question in the 2001 email log,
hence the question. Thanks in advance for any advice. A query that I
launched in a Sun-internal discussion group on this topic produced one
somewhat discouraging answer, but I'm not ready to give up yet.
I just purchased a Sony Clié PEG-N610C PDA, which comes with a USB
cradle for synchronization. What do I need to do to connect my
PalmOS-driven PDA and its USB cradle to my Ultra 1, which has a 25-pin
serial port? What combination of adaptors do I need to install between
the Ultra 1 serial port and the cradle's USB connector in order to use
the PilotManager software to synchronize the calendar, for example?
Or is what I want to do a complete impossibility? Should I return the
Clié and exchange it for a PDA for which a serial cradle is available?
Again, thanks for any help. I have a limited amount of time before the
option to exchange the Clié vanishes, so if you have advice or ideas,
please don't hesitate.
-Todd.
