[PilotMgr] hot sync - initial failure

Hi,

I started getting the following message when trying to initiate
a hot sync operation where I clicked on the tool's hot sync button
but had not yet done so for my PalmV.  Are there any recommendations
on where the source of the problem might be.  Please note that the
last time I tried to do a hot sync (this past Monday), I did not
see this error message.
