[PilotMgr] Palm 505

I just got a 505.  When I try to hot synch I get the following message:

Error modification of a read-only value attempted at /usr/dist/local/share/pilotmgr/PilotManager line 2618.

I never had a problem with my Palm V.  Can anyone help?
