Kent,
Is your SyncTime conduit running. I believe that this conduit tries to
use some time deamon. I used to know the details on what the deamon
did.
I had similar problem with the time being wrong, a few minutes behind
always. It turns out that my system time was also late. So I stopped
running the SyncTime conduit.
