I tried to sync my pilot just now, and got the following messages:
01/02/101 10:07:09 Please press the Hotsync button on your Pilot
cradle
01/02/101 10:07:12 Connected.
01/02/101 10:07:15 Synchronizing using the SyncTime conduit

format
Interface to this format is still experimental

01/02/101 10:08:41 SyncCM encountered an error during operation
To avoid causing further complications, the next
calendar sync will be a full sync.
01/02/101 10:08:41 Synchronization complete
Visually, what happened is that it told me it was reading the entries
from my desktop calendar, the progress bar moved forward relatively
quickly, and then got stuck. After perhaps a minute of not moving, I
got the error message (the 10:08:40 message) above.
I shortened the time interval to 3 months prior, and everything
worked, so presumably the problem is that there is a bad appointment
between 3 and 6 months ago on my desktop. Since my calendar is in
iCal format, it could be a problem pilotmgr has reading that format.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to track this down? I have a
lot of appointments in that 3 month chunk, and I'd rather not use the
brute force technique of trying different time intervals (which would
only narrow it down to a particular week, I believe). There was no
useful information in the log.
