[PilotMgr] Upgrade problem

I just upgraded my Palm III to a Palm VIIx.  Now, when I try do a sync
between PilotManager v.1.107 and the VIIx, I'm getting an error.  The error 
is, " Error: Modification of a read-only value attempted at PilotManager line 
2663.

This occurs after the "user identified".  Any suggestions?
