[PilotMgr] PilotManager over USB

I have a fellow employee that would like to use PilotManager on Linux.
He purchased a HandSpring Visor Deluxe, which only came with a USB
cradle.  He'd like to know if he can use it with PilotManager, or does
he need to buy the $29.95 serial cradle (which is what I did, so I could
sync it up on my Ultra10, since I have no USB port)?
