[PilotMgr] Trouble with installation

I have a IBM Workpad C3 which is essentially the same as the Palm V and uses the Palm OS.  I installed the pilot manager and in the sych status, it says "sync complete" , but not of my caledar appts appeared in my palm and visa versa.  What am I doing wrong?

I am new at Sun and have been trying to get my pda to sync since I arrived (1 mo +)---I had Solaris 8 installed on my Sparc 5 to make sure that I was ready to download and run pilot manager.  Any suggestions?
