Sandy, thanks for the hour you spent with me.....does anyone
have any other ideas as to why I still can't sync...since Sandy has
done it (between her Vx and a Sun), I believe that makes the Palm 
OS upgrade idea not the cause.......

I can't install, merge, or sync with my ultra...ANYONE have
any ideas?

ttya appears to have read/write access across, and everything
else looks right, but here is the latest error message:

XIO:  fatal IO error 131 (Connection reset by peer) on X server 
"sunray-mpkb:170.0"
      after 4379 requests (4358 known processed) with 0 events remaining.


Any ideas?  I feel like I am close but so far away on this!!
