I have my Palm Vx and PilotManager working fine.  I use an old Sparc10 in the office
next door (down a long serial cable), as we don't have SunRay support yet, but it
works just fine...

Some people reported problems with the permissions on /dev/ttya, check this, and
follow the links to the real character device...  I would expect this to cause you
problems, and I modified the permissions to what somebody else reported and got the
error they saw, modified them back to 666 and it worked, so check that...
