[PilotMgr] Problems with Synch of Palm Vx

I am a new owner of a Palm Vx and have just downloaded the software for
Solaris, and now I am trying to synch my Palm. I have downloaded the
follwing files:
latest.dev.tar
5.003-sun4-solaris-pkg.tar

After installation I do get a connection with my Palm, wen I start
PilotMgr.pm, but also get an error message (see screenoutput below).
Does anyone know what to do here?

I am running Solaris 7 5/99 s998s_u2SunServer_09 SPARC on a Sun
