[PilotMgr] Palm IIIC

Greetings:

I have just purchased a Palm Pilot IIIC.  (used to have a IIIx)

When I attemted to use Pilotmanager I got an error.  Re downloaded 
5.005-sun4-solaris-pkg.tar.gz and latest.dev.tar.gz .

When I do the command   file 5.004-sun4-solaris-pkg.tar.gz I get the following
message:

5.004-sun4-solaris-pkg.tar.gz:  gzip compressed data - deflate method

When I issue the command PilotManager, the PilotManager, v 1.106+ comes up
OK.

When I click on the Scync button on top of the screen it works OK
When I depress the Sync button on the craddle, the following takes place:

	- It tells me it is a new pilot and asks for a new name.
	  One is given
	  
	- then, upon depressing the craddle sync button the following message
	  appears in the PilotManager screen:
	  
	  	"Error:  Modification of a read-only value attenpted at
	  	/usr/dist/local/exe PilotManager line 2618"
	  	
What is this error?  Can anyone help me?

One additional item.  I am now running on an Ultra 10.
